The Celebration of Life for Mr. Lincoln J. Bellard, 82, of Orange, will be Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 3pm at the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Final Disposition will Cremation.
Visitation will be from 2 until 3pm under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Lincoln James Bellard was born June 11, 1942, in Eunice LA to Bernice (Citizen) Bellard and Ozema Bellard. He passed July 23, 2024, in the comfort of his home.
He has resided in Orange for 62 years and was a member of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Known to most as “Texas Bird,” he had his own Tree Trimming Service. During his working years he also had various other jobs, including being a Sandblaster for 28 years at Sipco Marine.
Along with his parents, Bernice (Citizen) Bellard and Ozema Bellard, he was preceded in death by brothers Earl Bellard, Willis Ardie, and Chester Ardie.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda Bellard, of Orange, two sons, Danny Allen of Orange and Conelius Shankle (Ingrid) of Augusta, GA, one daughter, Aretha Moore (Jerry) of Fort Worth, TX, two brothers, Horac C. Ardie of Alvin, TX and Larry Ardie of Lake Charles, LA, one sister, Elsie Thomas of Lake Charles, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
