
Hickory reliever Jake Lemoine picked up his third save of the season Saturday when he got Jose Gomez to fly out with two runners on. The Hickory Crawdads beat the Asheville Tourists 6-4.
Lemoine, a Bridge City grad, pitches for the Crawdads are a Class A team located in Hickory, North Carolina. They are in the South Atlantic League, and have been a farm team of the Texas Rangers since 2009.
The reliever who played at the University of Houston and was a fourth round pick of the Rangers in 2015, leads the team in saves. Overall he is 0-1 with 3 saves and an ERA of 4.05.
