Lee Autrey, 90, of Bridge City, passed away on December 19, 2021, in Bridge City.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Many, Louisiana. Burial will follow services.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., prior to the graveside, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Many, Louisiana.
Born in Converse, Louisiana, on October 5, 1931, she was the daughter of John Elbert Cates and Lou Helen (Tatum) Cates. Lee was a faithful member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. She loved visiting with her friends and family on the phone, often spending hours catching up with her loved ones. Lee was an incredible woman, who left her mark on all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lou Cates; husband, George Autrey; son, Kenneth Autrey; step-daughter, Kerry Cauley; step-son, Mike Autrey; sisters, Eloise Goldstein and Clydie Moritz; nieces, Helen Mortiz and Sue Fincher;
She is survived by her sister, Susie Repasky; daughter-in-law, Patricia Taylor; nieces and nephews, Carol Peters, Barbara Martin, Nancy Metcalf, John Repasky, Roy Repasky, and Michael Moritz; and great-nieces, Elizabeth Way, Lisa Carlock and Brittany Repasky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be mailed to Oak Hill Baptist Church at 154 Pastor’s Dr. Many, Louisiana 71449.
