Little Cypress-Mauriceville is happy to announce the LCM Teachers of the Year.
Elementary Teacher of the Year is Angela Jones and Secondary Teacher of the Year is Melanie Claybar. These two will advance to the Regional Teachers of the Year competition at Region 5. Winners applications of the Region 5 competition are then sent to the State level competition.
Each campus in the Little Cypress-Mauriceville District selected a Teacher of the Year. The campuses and Departments have also selected paraprofessionals of the year. The Maintenance Employee of the Year is Jeannette Wyatt, Head Custodian at LCM High School. Child Nutrition selected Veronica Bias of Little Cypress Elementary as their Employee of the Year.
The LCM High School Teacher and Paraprofessional of the Year are Melanie Claybar and Robin Laurence.
Little Cypress Junior High’s ToY is Amanda Istre and the PoY is Dakota Dallas.
Mauriceville Middle School’s representatives are Sarah McDow as ToY and Jayme Kluger as Poy.
Little Cypress Intermediate staff chose Angie Perry as their ToY and Winters Cole as the PoY.

Mauriceville Elementary voted for Angela Jones as ToY and Mandy Simon as Poy.
The seventh paraprofessional of the year is Melissa Usie. Melissa is a District Technician and is representing Technology, Special Education and the Administration Offices, since these departments have a much smaller staff than the campuses.
LCMCISD is proud of these and all of our staff who consistently go the extra mile for our students and their families.
