The LCM volleyball team opened district Saturday with a tough 5 set loss to Lumberton (13-25, 25-16, 17-25, 25-22, 13-15). Leading the Lady Bears in Kills-Trinity Williams 12, Christina Joseph 10, Alyssa Ammons 9; Aces – Hallie Maddox 5, Shannel Anderson 3; Assists – Trinity Williams 29, Shannel Anderson 18; Digs – Trinity Williams 28. The LCM freshman and JV were swept by Lumberton 2-0. LCM will travel to Orangefield Tuesday.
