LCM High School is turning some dirt on the south end of the campus as they are trying to improve the softball field as well as the parking.
Superintendent Stacey Brister said the field in between the baseball and softball field is being turned into a parking lot that should hold approximately 250 cars that will also include some handicap spaces.
The district is building a new road from Bear Path directly to the new parking lot as shown in the photo.
The softball field has received an upgrade with new grass and infield.
After the upcoming season the district is planning to replace the lights and stands, adding more seating to the facility.
