The award winning Little Cypress-Mauriceville drama program is taking their act on the road this weekend. Cory Broom the drama instructor for LC-M High School left with his students Wednesday to go to Dallas. Broom said the drama students are headed to the Texas State Thespian Festival which will be attended by six thousand theater students. LC-M was honored to be one of only twenty schools to be allowed to bring a production to perform at the state festival. The Little Cypress-Mauriceville thespians will perform the 17th century comedy Tartuffe at the K. Bailey Hutchinson Dallas Convention Center. The festival runs Thursday through Saturday.
