Larry Hopkins 65 of Orange, Texas passed
away November 2, 2018 at the Southeast
Texas Medical Center Hospital in Port Arthur,
Texas.
Larry was a life long resident of Orange, Texas.
He was a 1972 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High
School. Larry had served his Country in the United States
Air Force for a period of three years and retired
from Chervon Chemical as an operator with 20
years of service. Larry was loved by his family
along with the friends in the community. He was
a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in
Orange, Texas.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and
brother.
Home going celebration will be Saturday November
10, 2018 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church located
at 612 3rd street in Orange, Texas. Service time
is 11:00 am with a visitation starting at 9:30am til
time of service. Interment will follow at Magnolia
Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Larry leaves to cherish his precious memories his
wife, Shanell Hopkins; Two sons, Chulaties Jacobs
( Katrice ) and Christopher Hopkins ( KeShawnda )
both of Orange, Texas. One daughter, Terri Williams
of Omaha, Nebraska. Two sisters, Laverne Johnson
And Beverly Sims both of Houston, Texas. He also
leaves behind 5 grandchildren and two great
grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
