Lane Monroe Parish passed away in Houston on 2025/11/22 at the age of 75. He was born in Orange on 1951/11/03. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Lane was a graduate of the University of Texas, a retired construction estimator and project manager, and had worked in southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana on a variety of construction projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie Mitchell Parish and Laverne Meredith Parish. He is survived by his two children Victoria Marie Skinner and her husband Chris Skinner of Houston and their two children Sarah Marie Skinner and Meredith Skinner, and Cole Molina Parish and wife Teala Ngo Parish of Houston, and their two children Stella Parish and Beckett Parish, and two brothers, Dale Meredith Parish and Mike Sherrill Parish, of Orange.
His body will be cremated and a private family burial of the ashes will take place in the Meredith Family cemetery in Bastrop County next spring when the bluebonnets are in Bloom.
