The Deweyville Lady Pirates won consolation at the YMBL Tournament Saturday. They began the day with a tough loss against Buna (14-25)(26-24)(13-15), but finished the day strong with three straight wins to take home the consolation trophy. Their wins included: Kountze (25-19)(25-23), High Island (25-13)(25-17), and Evadale (25-23)(25-13). Coach Michael Trahan said three players also made the All-Tournament team and they were (3) Raegan Chance, (10) Bree’Anne Clark, and (14) Aleigha Raymer.
