The scoreboard at the Bridge City High School gym didn’t work on Saturday but you didn’t need it to know the Lady Cards had brought their “A” game as they swept the Orangefield Bobcats 25-9, 25-23, 25-15.
BC really kept the Lady Cats off balance with their serves. That included 11 aces (Harlee Tupper 6, Waverlee Cooper 3, Taryn Doiron 2).
Tupper also added 7 kills, 5 digs and 14 assists. Cooper added 7 digs and Doiron had 6 digs, 8 assists, and 9 kills.
Daelyn Perry had 9 kills, 6 digs, and 2 stuffs. Caryss Carpenter tallied 5 digs as well. The Cards will welcome LCM on Tuesday.

BC’s freshman was a straight set winner on Saturday.
The OF JV won their match in 3 sets with scores of 25-20, 20-25, and 25-11. Bobcat leaders were Hannah Francis with 18 assists, a block and 2 kills. Greenlea Oldham and Riley Fuller each had 8 kills, and Kiley Mouton had 3 Aces.
