The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the East Chambers Lady Bucs 16-0 in 3 innings in a make-up game from Friday.
Abigail Curphey got the start on the mound with 2 strikeouts in an inning of work. Charlee Sanches closed the door in the last two innings giving up 1 hit, with 3 strikeouts.
The Lady Bobcats tallied 14 hits total on the day, highlighted by Harleigh Rawls and Charlee Sanches back to back homeruns in the first inning. Harleigh Rawls led the way with 2 hits, including a homerun, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Charlee Sanches also had 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Aubree Beck was 2 for 3 on the night with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Emily Meyers was 2 for 3 with a double 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Paris Becker had 2 hits, with an RBI and a run scored. The Lady Bobcats grab their 20th win of the season, and improve to 10-2 in district play. They will travel to Buna on Friday with JV beginning at 5:00 and varsity at 6:30.
