The Orangefield Lady Bobcats fell to the East Bernard Lady Brahmarettes in the 3A Region III quarterfinals in straight sets, 25-12, 25-18, 25-14. The match was played at Lee College. They finished the season 31-10.
East Bernard, located in Wharton County, will go on to the Regional Tournament at Sam Houston University where they will play Maypearl High School.
In Lady Bobcat basketball Tuesday, OF beat Lumberton 47-44. For OF: Jacey Bourque 4 assists, 10 steals, and 14 points. Joli Ponfick 12 points and 5 rebounds. Tatum Garlington 12 points and 3 rebounds. Jayme Deutsch with 14 rebounds. Lacy Leach 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
