LCM opened district with an 8-6 win over Silsbee Wednesday.
Keylie Washburn and Lexis Moss had monster games. Washburn was 3-3 with a HR and 3 RBI’s and Moss was 3-4 with a HR and 2 RBI’s.
Senior Cami Shugart was the winning pitcher, striking out 11 in the in win.
The Lady Bears (1-0) will travel to BC (1-0) on Friday. BC opened district Tuesday with a 20-0 win over WOS.
