West Orange Fire received a call Tuesday at 5:31pm of a structure fire at 1607 Bonham Street and that there were possibly two people still inside.
Chief David Roberts said after they arrived on scene everybody was out of the house except for one person who was trying to put the fire out himself. The fire started in the kitchen and spread it into the attic.
The man inside had to be treated at the scene by Acadian for smoke inhalation. Little Cypress provided backup mutual aid.
