His son tells his story as “My dad was the most lovable sweetest “awesomely amazing” man I’ve EVER met, he loved my mom with his whole soul and couldn’t stand to be away from her side. As a father he was perfect, he always gave me and my sister the first bite off his plate, he constantly told us how proud he was of us and how much he loved us, His children were his pride and joy. His love was as big as Texas, he gave the best hugs and always had a big smile, you were always expecting a phone call on your birthday to my dad singing his heart out to you. He was the family’s hype man/cheerleader, there was never an accomplishment that he didn’t celebrate or call saying how proud he was of you”
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 ,at 6 PM at Claybar Funeral home in Orange, Texas, with a gathering of family and friends from 4 PM until service time. Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of Claybar funeral home.
