
Kathy Willis, 65, of Vidor, TX passed peacefully in her sleep from this life on April 3, 2018 after a lengthy battle of breast cancer. She passed away in Beaumont, TX at Harbor Hospice Hospital.
She was born in Orange, TX on September 11, 1952 to Lonnie and Eleanor Ellis.
Preceded in death are her loving parents.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Gale Willis, her sons Scott Smith and wife Amy of Vidor, TX, Kevin Smith of Lufkin, Texas. Two Grandchildren Miranda Smith her husband Ryan of Hawaii and Aspen Smith of Vidor, TX. Two great grandchildren, Maddisyn and Cash Smith. Two sisters Linda Gateley and husband Don of Jacksonville, TX, Connie Turner and husband Homer of Orange, TX. Many nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle, and numerous cousins and frienkds who loved her dearly.
Kathy will forever be remembered by her contagious smile, loving spirit, and her infectious laughter.
Celebration of her life will be Saturday April 7, 2018 at 12pm at Canaan Primitive Baptist Church, 1307 Allie Payne Orange, TX 77632
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canaan Primitive Baptist Church.
Kathy was always a kind and sweet person with a smile on her face. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I am so sorry to hear this. Kathy and I lived next to each other in Lufkin for many years and our kids grew up together. She was a true friend and will be missed so much. Prayers going out to her family. Kathy was one of a kind and never had anything bad to say about anyone. Her beautiful smile touched so many hearts. Heaven has just gained another special angel.
