The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Kathleen Provost Runnels, 65, of Orange, will be Friday, July 8, 2022, at 1pm at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Rites of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 12 noon at the Greenwood Cemetery #2 in Garrison, TX under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12 until 1pm.
Kathy, as she was called was the daughter of Frencl Runnels and Eugene Dove.
Born in Garrison, she resided in California a number of years and had been in Orange 22 years.
She was employed in the food service department at Delta Downs.
Her summons from earthly life came June 28, 2022, in Beaumont, TX.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Rodney Dove, and Sterling Dove.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Carl Dove (Lydia), Terry Lynn Dove and Paul Dwayne Dove, all of Orange, 3 sisters, Marian King of Dallas, TX, and Shelia Dove and Nicol Collins (Travis), both of Orange, special aunt, Corine Thomas of Garrison and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
