A teenager was sent to the juvenile detention center in Beaumont Wednesday after a man was cut with a kitchen knife. Orange police described the cut as about two to three inches long and “shallow.”
The incident was about 4:15 p.m. at a house on Sunset Circle B. Orange police reported two teens at the house were arguing and a man living at the house told them to go in the back yard. One of the youth picked up a serrated kitchen knife. When the man asked what he had behind his back, the teen tried to stab him. The knife went across the man’s shoulder and cut his back. The other teen took the knife away.
