
Julie Ann (Bennett) Bonner, 62, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 24, 2018, in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Chip Anthony of North Orange Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 2:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Houston, Texas, on April 15, 1956, she was the daughter of James W. Bennett and Mary Elizabeth (Gay) Bennett. Julie was a devoted Catholic, serving her Lord at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. She was an amazing cook and the matriarch of her family whom she was very devoted to. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Bennett; and son, James Christopher Bonner.
She is survived by her loving husband, Sam (Sammy) Bonner of Orange; children, Jennifer Bonner of Bridge City, and Daniel Bonner and wife Jenna of Orange; and grandchildren, Michael Bonner of Bridge City, Jasmine Bonner, Kael Bonner, Anna Leigh Bonner, and Adeline Bonner.
Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Bonner, Jennifer Bonner, Michael Myers, Rick Moss, Stevan Smith, and James Griffin.

I knew Julie when she was growing up in Roselawn. She was a very sweet young girl but haven’t seen her in many years.
