Judy Kay Hughes – aka JuJu, 73, passed away on April 5, 2025.
Born on January 21, 1952, she was the daughter of Noble Chester Hughes and Charlie Mae Hughes. Judy served briefly in the Army National Guard. She loved her family. Judy loved cooking, and we were lucky to have had many of her dinners. Gumbo was one of her favorites to make. She enjoyed going to thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets. Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nobel and Charlie Hughes; siblings, Ronnie Gerald Hughes, Dorothy Mae Wiegand, June Elaine Chambers, Shirley Jean Goodeaux, and Jerry Wayne Hughes.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Ellen Hicky, Elizabeth Ann Anderson, and Larry Noble Hughes; nieces and nephews; her yorkie, Harvey; and many other loving family and friends.
