
Juanita Sanchez Castillo, 97, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on March 12, 2025, at home.
Born in Orange, Texas, on July 15, 1927, she was the daughter of Juan R. Sanchez and Nicolosa (Soto) Sanchez. Throughout her career, Juanita was a devoted retail sales associate at Sears, where she worked diligently until her retirement. Her time there was marked by her commitment to providing excellent service and building relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Juanita was known for her charitable nature, often donating to multiple charities and striving to make a positive impact in her community. Her generosity extended beyond her charitable donations, as she remained close to her long-time friends, Ladelle Means, Lisa Zaballa, and Carol Zaballa. In her free time, Juanita enjoyed crocheting and was exceptionally talented in photography, capturing moments and memories with her keen eye. Family was incredibly important to her, particularly her great nieces and nephews, with whom she cherished spending time. Juanita leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love. Her memory will continue to live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Nicolosa Sanchez; siblings, Sammy, Henry, John, Jesse, Pearl, Delores, and Nellie.
She is survived by her brother, Thomas Sanchez (San Diego, CA) sister-in-law, Marcia Jane Sanchez (Orange, TX), sister- in- law Dianne Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
