Joe grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and spent many happy days as a young boy visiting his grandfather’s farm in Westmorland, Kansas, where his Uncle Julian and Aunt Barbara still live. He also made sure his grandchildren got to visit and experience his love of the farm and especially jumping off the big cliffs and playing in the creek. He also spent a lot of time at Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Oklahoma water skiing with his mom, dad, brothers and sisters. He also loved taking his grandkids on “The Great Adventures”.
Joe loved to grow roses, fish, quail hunting, extensive bike rides and going camping in the RV. His favorite thing to do was play golf. He could be found just about every day (except Monday when the course was closed) on the golf course playing with his buddies or practicing golf.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Special thanks to Altus Hospice, his nurse, Maggie, the many home health providers and Ms. Cynthia.
