The Bridge City school board election has drawn its first challenger. Michael Daniel McGee filed this week to run for the Place 6 position against incumbent Michael C. Johnson. Incumbent Mark Anderson is unopposed so far for Place 7.
Filing for the May 6 election will end next Friday, February 17. Candidates should file during regular business hours in the superintendent’s office.
