
Johnathan Lee Leonard Leidinger, of Bridge City, was born November 12, 1998, and passed away October 31, 2025, at the age of 26.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Johnathan found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of nature, casting a line at sunrise, waiting patiently for the perfect catch, or spending crisp autumn mornings in the woods during hunting season. He had a deep respect for the land and loved sharing his knowledge and stories with family and friends around the campfire.
Johnathan will be remembered for his warm smile, easygoing nature, and the way he could turn any day into a memorable one. His legacy lives on through the countless memories shared with those who loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Windsor Leidinger, and Johnathan Lee Leonard Leidinger Jr; father, David Lee Leidinger and wife Amanda; mother, Mary Margaret Marshall; stepfather, Chris Pitrey; siblings, Kaley Camilla Pitrey, Joseph Pitrey, Noah Pitrey, Emmalee Pitrey, Skylar Belle Pitrey, Lucas Pitrey, Johnathan James Bradley deGeus, Maegan Rylee McBride, Laurrie Morgan McBride, Robert Connor McBride, and Hunter Addair McBride; grandparents, Robert Dore, Ray Leidinger, Carol Leidinger and Kathy Treadway; uncles, Francis Leidinger, Randy Leidinger; great uncle, Keith Marshall; aunts, Cheryl Leidinger and Lydia Purgahn; great aunt, Alicia Gayle Marshall; cousins, Joby Prurgahn, Jade Purgahn, Skeeter Nicole Marshall; and niece, Alyvia Marshall Pitrey.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Joanne ‘Granny’ Dore, John ‘Grandpa’ N Pigg, and Garland Bubba Treadway.
Cremation was entrusted to Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North Orange, Texas.
