
John William Burns Jr., 54, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2026. He was born on August 26, 1971.
John was a longtime resident of Vidor and was known for his love of professional wrestling and his deep devotion to his family. Above all else, he was a wonderful father who cherished every moment spent with his son. His time with family brought him the greatest happiness, and he will be remembered for the love and care he gave so freely.
He is survived by his son, Jackson Richard Burns of Vidor, Texas; and the mother of his son, Tana Burns of Vidor, Texas. He is also survived by his siblings: Alice Garcia and husband Peter of Berwyn, Illinois; Cynthia Smith of Monterey, California; Jason Michael Burns of Grant Park, Illinois; and Maureen, Shannon, and Tracy Burns of Arizona.
John is also survived by his mother, Louise Ann Quan of Grant Park, Illinois; and his nieces and nephews: Peter Garcia, Emilio Garcia, Sebastian Bright, Sierra Bright, Serenity Burns and Luka Zamora
He was preceded in death by his father, John William Burns Sr.
John will be remembered as a loving father, devoted son, and a man who truly valued his family above all else.
