John Ryan Hardee, 50, of Plano, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2025, at home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Charlie Miller.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 15, 1974, he was the son of Billy J. Hardee, Sr. and Wanda (Hancock) Hardee. John was a dedicated nurse for Medical City in Dallas, where he took great pride in his work and cared deeply for his patients. He graduated from Bridge City High School and later pursued his nursing degree at Lamar Orange. His commitment to his education paved the way for a rewarding career in nursing, where he found fulfillment in helping others. John had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He loved spending time with his dog, Precious, who was a constant companion. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, often finding peace and adventure in the great outdoors. As a loyal fan, John cherished watching the Dallas Cowboys, supporting them through every game with enthusiasm. John will be remembered for his caring nature, his commitment to his profession, and the love he had for his dog and his hobbies. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wanda and Billy Hardee, Sr.; and grandparents.
He is survived by his siblings, Billy J. Hardee, Jr. and Debbie Wilbur and husband Michael; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends.
