John P. Anger, age 92, of Orange, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 in Beaumont, Texas.
John was born on April 6, 1933 to John and Dorothy Anger in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Lutcher Stark High School before attending Stephen F. Austin College. He joined the Army in 1953 to serve in the Korean War. He served his country as an Operating Room Specialist earning a Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal before being honorably discharged in 1956. Upon returning to Orange he became a deep sea diver for Coastal Diving Company. He lived in Orange until his passing.
Preceding John in death were his parents and his brother, Fayette Fletcher Anger.
Those left to cherish his memory are his niece, Stacy Haley of Orange, Texas; his great nephew, Gavin Haley of Orange, Texas; his great niece, Emily Haley of Bridge City, Texas and his two great great nieces, Arielle and Lillian Schnepf of Bridge City.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
