Johannes “Joe” Michael Magee, 45, of Vidor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 13, 1980, in Beaumont, to Susan Mackechney Magee and J. Michael Magee.
Joe was a loving father, son, brother, nephew, and friend. For sixteen years Joe dedicated his time to being the best coach and mentor to his son, on and off the field.
Joe found joy in being around his family making them laugh and creating lasting memories!
Survivors include his son, Jayden Michael Magee; parents, J. Michael and Susan Magee; siblings, Stacy Lynn Bolen; and Jesse Magee Mahfouz and her husband, Samuel; nephew, Matthew Jameson Mahfouz; aunts and uncles, Candis and Brian White; Christal Fuselier; and Judy and Butch Johnston; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by Charles Henry Magee and Patricia Ann; and Joe and Iris Mackechney.
A gathering of Joe’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
