Jinx Safar, 84, of Vidor died Saturday, September 26th, 2015 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Warren, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jinx was retired from Beall’s Department Stores and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday October 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A visitation will be held from 6-9 pm Friday, October 2, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Jinx is survived by her son Don Safar, daughters Gwen Skibo and Monica Sampson, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years John Safar, daughters Rhonda Wisby and Sherry Safar, step-daughter Victoria Williams.
