
Jimmy Louis Moon, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on September 9, 2025. He was born on February 9, 1954, in Orange, Texas, to the late Jessie Moon and Joyce (Callahan) Moon. At 71 years, Jimmy lived a full and vibrant life, marked by his unwavering commitment to family, his infectious humor, and his passionate love for sports.
Above all else, Jimmy was a family man. He dedicated his life to supporting and guiding his children, always doing everything he could to help them along their way. His greatest joy was being with his family. He shared 49 years with his wife, Mary Angelle Moon, and together they created a loving home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Jimmy was a proud father to Aaron Moon and his wife Megan, Adam Moon and his wife Marci, Elissa Moon LoCoco, and Andrew Moon. His grandchildren—Caroline, Isla, Wyatt, and Ava—were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Jimmy also leaves behind his siblings, Pat Wallace and Larry Moon and his wife Ann as well as a loving extended family who will carry forward his legacy of love, support, and laughter.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on September 15, 2025, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, where family and friends will gather to honor a man who touched so many lives with his devotion, kindness, and humor.
Jimmy’s love and kindness will never be forgotten. His family will always feel his presence in their hearts, guiding and inspiring them.
