James Oliver Neff, age 48 of Orange, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022. A service for friends and family will be held July 23, 2022 in Bridge City, Texas. Please contact Jeff Neff, Kristin Thibodeaux, Kara Griffin, or Edith Mendoza for more service information. James was born in Texas January, 10 1974 to Corrine Neff and William H. Neff. He graduated from West Orange-Stark High School in 1991. He served in the United States Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge in 1996. He was a skilled machinist and enjoyed his trade and the people he worked with at TRES. James was a kind, headstrong person with a big heart. He was very beloved by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Corrine Neff, father, William H. Neff, and half-brother, Charles Frederick.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Edith Mendoza, her husband, David Mendoza of Fort Worth, TX and brother Jeff Neff. He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews, Kara Griffin and Husband Hunter Griffin of Port Arthur, TX, Kristin Thibodeaux and husband Keith Thibodeaux of Orange, TX, Jalee Apodaca and husband Damioun Apodaca of Bremerton, WA, and Zachary Mendoza of Fort Worth, TX. Also left to remember and learn about their uncle are his 6 great nieces and nephews, Kayden Thibodeaux, Hayden Thibodeaux, Adalyna Thibodeaux, Peyton Griffin, Ryker Griffin, and Gunnar Griffin.
