Minister James Hebert, 65, of Port Arthur, Texas, departed this life on August 9, 2024 at his home.
He was a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Minister Hebert had resided in Port Arthur for 19 years where he worked and ministered in his community. He also served his country in the United States Army.
Home going celebration will be on Saturday August 24th at First Christian Church located at 5856 9th avenue in Port Arthur. Service begins at 10:00 am. Visitation is from 9:00 am til service time. Interment will be at the Houston National Cemetery the following week. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rose Hebert of Port Arthur, and son, Isaac Hebert of Temple, Texas. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
