
James Glen “Pee Wee” Gresham Jr., 89, of Vidor, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 1, 2025. Pee Wee was born May 27, 1936, in Greenville, Mississippi, to James Glen and Myrtle Reid Gresham. He was a resident of Vidor for the past 64 years.
Pee Wee married Carolyn Lewis on June 16, 1956. To this union five wonderful daughters were born. He was a dedicated Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather. He enjoyed his life as a pipe liner and traveled all over the United States and even worked abroad in Thailand. He was a member of the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge and had recently received his 60 year pin. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.
Pee Wee was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Charles and Roy, his wife Carolyn and his great grandson Christian. He is survived by his children LaVonda Charleston and husband Warren of Vidor; Patsy Isenhower and her husband Richard of Vidor; Kristy Calhoun and husband Gerry of Vidor; Rebecca Gresham and late husband Paul; Catherine Braneff and wife Danielle of Orangefield; and Jon Jon Johnson of Waller. He’s also survived by his adoring grandchildren: John “Marcus” Poole, Lucas, Travis, and Nathan Isenhower, Chad Calhoun, Kacie Dawson, Elizabeth Gresham, James Paul Gresham, Brittany White, and Ira Lynn Braneff II and 17 great grandchildren.
