Jackie Marie Bouler, 82, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 30, 2021, at her home with her son, Kurt, by her side.

Born in Orange, Texas, on March 4, 1938, she was the daughter of Garland Colvin and Josephine (Duhon) Murray. Jackie was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church in West Orange, Texas, where she dearly loved her church family. She was a true caretaker at heart and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a cat lover to the core and was known take in stray cats and make sure they were loved and taken care of. Jackie was a wonderful wife and mother who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Garland Colvin and Josephine Murray; loving husband, Joe Bouler; son, Johnny Shelton; siblings, Bobbie Jo Coleman, Jay Block, and Jerry Colvin; aunt, Teewee Duhon; uncle, Buddy Duhon; and her stepmother, Dorothy “Maw Maw” Colvin.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Kurt Shelton and wife Trudie Love, of Orange; siblings, Sidney Murray and wife Tracy, Kathy Perkins and husband David, Jimmy Block and wife Mona, Joni White and husband Steve, Doyle Murray and wife Patsy, Jack Murray, and Paul Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her unconditionally, along with many other loving family and friends.
Jackie’s request was that no flowers be sent. Instead, memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Society or other related organizations, a pet organization, or to the charity of your choice.
