The Celebration of Life for Mr. Isuam “Bo Bo” Owens, 61, of Orange, will be Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11 am at Sparrow Funeral Home. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 am.
Isuam “ Bo Bo” Owens was born in Orange, Texas to Mr. Willie and Mrs. Louise Chachere Owens. His summons from life to life eternal came November 11, 2018 at his residence.
Raised and educated in the area, he spent several years in the Job Corps and then returned to Orange. He was employed in the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Orange. He retired after 22 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dora Owens, son, Joe Hutchings, II, brother, Israel “Nu Nu” Owens, and sister, Loretta King.
Survivors include 2 sons, Isuam Owens, Jr. and Joseph Hutchings both of Orange, 5 daughters, Claudette Owens (Baxter), Sincera Hutchings, Calandra Hutchings and Florence Hutchings, all of Orange, and Kizzy Brown of Beaumont, TX, 1 brother, Willie (Spawn) Owens of Houston, TX, 1 sister, Laura Owens of Beaumont, TX and 19 grandchildren.
