Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers along with local Louisiana authorities conducted a raid on Delta Downs Race Track in Vinton Tuesday looking for undocumented workers.
Agents closed the exits and used drones to encompass the area. A source said they concentrated their efforts on the backstretch workers who take care of the horses and stables.
It is not known how many were apprehended but as many as 18 can be seen on a photo that was posted on social media.
DD has been running quarter horses Wednesday-Saturday’s in June through July 12.
