With one year of eligibility left, WOS grad Demetrius Hunter has decided to leave the University of Houston after four years there and compete for the starting job at the University of Colorado under Coach Deon Sanders.
The Buffs starting center Zarian McGill has decided to put his name in the NFL Draft hat, leaving the position open going into 2026. Hunter had 25 starts at Houston, including all 12 of the regular season games in 2025. He is the fourth offensive lineman the Buffaloes have landed.
Hunter did not play in Houston’s bowl win over LSU. The Cougars finished 10-3. Colorado was 3-9 last year.
