Eve Eve at Turning Point Church in Vidor
Dec. 23 beginning at 7pm. Get ready to celebrate the birth of our Savior at Christmas Eve Eve! This year our kiddo’s are kicking off the night with a short Christmas program and then our TPC band will lead us in festive songs of the season & worship! It’s going to be a wonderful night so bring the family as we remember the true reason for this incredible season. Come early for hot cocoa & cookies!
Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center invites you and your family to stroll through our magically transformed landscapes to enjoy a festive holiday lights experience. Make a Christmas Stroll at Shangri La Gardens a family tradition. Admission is FREE! We encourage visitors to donate nonperishable food items for Orange Christian Services to support those in greatest need throughout our community.Christmas Strolls will usher in the Christmas season with colorful displays throughout the garden during the evenings of December 18-21, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. each night.Our Christmas Strolls are a great way to celebrate the Christmas season with family and friends. Come out and see our beautiful Christmas trees created by talented members of the community.

SOLD OUT – After extensive restoration of both exterior and interior spaces, the Nelda C. & H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation is happy to announce the re-opening of The W.H. Stark House for 2019 Holiday Tours.
Doodle Days is a free event for families and museum visitors to let loose and discover the power of their imagination. The fun is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the gallery setting and encourages participants to engage with the art and seek inspiration for their own art making. Families and visitors of all ages are encouraged to drop in and stay as long as they wish. Activities will change each Doodle Day and will relate to the gallery that is hosting the event. No registration is required.
Get ready to explore art-making at SMA Playdate! Little artists and their grown-ups will enjoy a special story and art-inspired play before creating their own original masterpiece in our art studio. Free admission.Engage in hands-on learning opportunities, including storytelling, imaginative play, and art making with an emphasis on building fine motor skills.Each month features a new story and activity to help you and your child engage with a work of art at the Stark Museum of Art.Families are encouraged to dress for mess. While all artists are provided with aprons, accidents can happen.
