Christmas and New Year’s fall on Saturdays this year; so city residents across Orange County will not have changes in garbage pickup.
Orange County offices, along with those in the cities of Orange, West Orange, Pinehurst, Bridge City and Vidor will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week for Christmas. Pinehurst City Hall will close at noon on Wednesday. County offices will also be closed on Monday, December 27.
Next week, the city of West Orange will close Thursday, December 30, and Friday, December 31, for New Year’s Day on Saturday. County offices, along with city offices in Orange, Pinehurst, Bridge City, and Vidor will be closed on Friday December 31.
All regular emergency services will be provided during the holidays.
