After the third quarter of the BC/LCM game Friday, Cardinal PA Announcer Terry Steubing called the crowds attention to the field as they welcomed and honored Alexus Henry.
Henry, a two time state champion in the high jump at Bridge City, recently won gold in the NCAA Championships in the high jump. She’s the first female athlete at University of Texas at Arlington to win a national title.
She also holds the school record for the high jump, pentathlon and hepthathlon. And she also still owns four individual track records at BCHS along with the state record in 4A.
