Raven Cole Harris has decided to leave Bridge City after four seasons to take over the softball program at Buna.
“I’m going to miss my girls and my co-workers tremendously. I wish each of them the best and will always be rooting for them,” she told KOGT.
BC was the first head coaching stop for Harris, who is an LCM grad that helped pitch LSU-Eunice and North Alabama to national titles in college. She leaves with a record of 65-49-2. This season BC finished second in district and lost to Huffman in the Bi-District round.
She said, “I’m extremely excited to be a Buna Cougar. I’m already counting down the days until softball season!”
Harris replaces Jim Sherman who stepped down after the season.
