Shane Hanks, a 1991 Bridge City graduate, has been named the new Head Football Coach at Richmond Foster, a 5A Division I school located west of Houston.
Hanks had been the Defensive Coordinator for the Falcons. He takes over for Shaun McDowell, who left following the season to take the HFC position with Grand Oaks HS.
“I am thankful and excited for the opportunity to lead our athletes and coaches. I have been in education 25 years with the last 14 here at Foster Falcon. My family and I are blessed to serve our community,” Hanks said.
