Gwendolyn Faye Clark, age 74 of Orange, Texas, passed away in Port Arthur, Texas on Monday, July 27, 2020. A memorial service to honor Gwendolyn’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Dorman Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM before the service on Saturday.
Gwendolyn was born in Des Moines, Iowa on August 13, 1945 to Mattie East Duchesne and Rufus Duchesne. She graduated from Lamar University Nursing Program and had been a longtime RN in the SETX area. Gwendolyn was a loving and kind person that was willing to always help others. She enjoyed painting, drawing and was an excellent cook, but most of all she loved being with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Clark and parents Rufus and Mattie Duchesne.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronnie Adam Cloud of Port Arthur, TX and Rufus Jason Cloud of Orange, TX and her daughter Amber Cloud of Orange, TX, one sister Mattie Carolyn Forsythe of Lumberton, TX, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
