A Jefferson County Grand Jury has indicted a Bridge City woman for assaulting a police officer and possession.
On Feb. 14 Beaumont Police located Karsyn Mae Moore, 24, in the 3800 block of Grand Ave. in Beaumont. She was wanted for questioning by Bridge City Police.
When police located her in her 2006 Chevy Cobalt, they also located marijuana in plain view in the floorboard of the vehicle. When she was being place under arrest she began to resist and assaulted the officer by kicking him and causing pain according to court documents. Those documents did not say why BCPD was looking for Moore, other than to question her.
