Glenn was born to Riley Mildred (Satterfield) and Teddy Cecil Hoffpauir, in Orange, Texas, on Sunday, April 29th, 1956. He grew up in Orange, Texas. Glenn’s Father, Ted, was a member of the Lions Club and Glenn was often found helping him at the Lions Park. One afternoon while out at the Park, Glenn overheard a young woman using the Lord’s name in vain. Glenn, being the God fearing man that he was, walked over and proceeded to tell the 17 year old woman that she should watch her mouth. He didn’t know it, but the young woman, named D’Anne, was very head strong and didn’t take kindly to someone, especially a stranger and a man at that, telling her what to do. D’Anne then proceeded to tell Glenn exactly where he could go. They argued back and forth till D’Anne started crying. Glenn then comforted her and asked her on a date. They were married 3 months later and have been inseparable since that day. Glenn and D’Anne were happily married for 45 years. They stayed in Orange and started a family. Glenn worked for Burkart’s House Moving and Leveling for most of his life. He is well known around Orange and the Golden Triangle, for his reliable and impeccable work. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, camping, boating, fishing, BBQing, playing cards, shooting pool, and most of all hanging out with his family, especially his grandkids. Glenn was a very good cook and always loved making breakfast for his family. Glenn loved many things in life, but nothing more than his beloved family.
Glenn is preceded in death by his Mother, Riley Mildred (Satterfield); Father, Teddy Cecil Hoffpauir; Brothers, John Hoffpauir, Ronnie Hoffpauir and Sister, Judy Hoffpauir.
