Wendy Gillet, a Senior First baseman at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, set a new school record for career doubles with 45 in the 2nd game of a doubleheader on Saturday in Shreveport when she doubled off the left center wall in the 4th inning. She had tied the record of 44 during the 1st game. She also added 3 RBI’S to move her into 3rd Place All-Time with a total of 104 RBI’S.
Currently, Wendy leads the team in hitting (.413), hits (15), doubles (7), rbi’s (15), total bases (29), slugging % (.630), base-on -balls (6), on base % (.491), sacrifice flies (2), putouts (144), and fielding % (.980) with only 3 errors in 150 chances.
