Gene Robert “Carburetor” Gallier 76 of Toledo Village, Texas died on Feb. 17, 2018 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. He was born on May 28, 1941 in Port Arthur and had lived in Toledo Village for the past 12 years. He was a retired electrician from Texaco and was a U. S. Army veteran. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife. Susan Gallier of Toledo Village, sons, Brian Gallier and wife Nancy of Nacogdocher and Joey Gallier and wife Jennifer of Houston, Tx, grandsons, Connor Gallier and Austin Gallier, sister, Lily Mae Ballard of Port Acres, Tx and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by is parents, Maxie and Lillian Gallier and sister, Bobbie Gary.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm with the funeral to begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Toledo Bend Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Toledo Bend Volunteer Fire Dept. or the Toledo Baptist Church.
