Sparky Robinson and Weldon Smith with OPD stand next to the gator believed to be responsible for killing Tommie Woodward Friday near Burkhart’s Marina in the Cove. Witnesses say Woodward was attacked by a large gator of about 11 feet. The gator in the photo measured 11-5 and was found dead near the marina. No one has claimed the killing of the gator.
