GARY DEAN JOHNSON, age 56, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M., on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at The Cemetery, in Mauriceville, Texas. Family and friends will gather for visitation between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Dorman Funeral Home, in Orange, Texas.
Gary was born on November 14, 1963, to Melton Fred Johnson and Gladys Lavern Bickham Johnson, in Orange, Texas. He moved to Dallas, Texas, but returned to the Orange area where he took residence up in Bridge City, Texas. Gary was a member of Circle Drive Baptist Church, in Bridge City, Texas.
Gary is preceded in death by his father, Melton Fred Johnson, sister-in-law Carmen Johnson, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bickham.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Brandi Johnson of Bridge City, Tx.; mother Gladys Johnson of Orange, Tx.; sons; Zachary Aaron Johnson and Travis Miller Johnson; daughter, Saria Lynn Johnson; stepchildren, Dalton, Katey, and Jacob; brother, Melton Fred Johnson II; sister, Karen Robinson and husband Sidney; Uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bickham, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bickham, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bickham, and Mr. and Mrs. Burliss Bickham, plus numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Honoring Gary’s life as pallbearers are; Travis Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Casey Robinson, Steven Robinson, Melton Fred Johnson, and Tyler Johnson, also serving as honorary pallbearer is Christopher Robinson.
